Exercise…..I hate to do it!
It’s been a really long time since I focused on my physical wellness. Over the years, I threw my whole identity into being a mom and raising my sons. In the process, I lost myself to a poor diet and very little physical activity. So considering my age and lack of physical fitness, I was extremely apprehensive to join an organized class. (Been there, done that, no thank you.) Although I wanted to reclaim my former self, I had tried many different forms of “getting into shape” over the years and felt defeated when results were minimal and the methods were boring.
My daughter-in-law kept inviting me to join her Pilates class in her neighborhood and after checking into other local studios and learning how they operate, I chose to give CoreCulture Pilates a try. I was a bit intimidated as the classes were described as “intense”. I knew how difficult it would be for me to drag my middle aged body to class and persevere through training that I hadn’t experienced in almost 20 years.
After the first few classes, I was totally hooked! Was I sore? Absolutely! But I soon realized that I wasn’t spending the 50 minutes of class watching the clock and praying for it to be over. I also realized that I was actually enjoying not only the physical results that I had wanted, but I was relishing in the encouragement that Tiffany offered in every class; as well as the camaraderie that my classmates brought to the studio.
CoreCulture is the real deal. My overall cardiovascular health has improved, my blood pressure has improved, my mental health has improved, and last but certainly not least, I have regained muscle tone that I thought I would never see again!
Don’t kid yourself, if you’re starting from zero it won’t be easy. But the dedication, combined with the positive atmosphere in a non-judgmental setting has changed my mind-set regarding exercise.
I love CoreCulture Pilates!
Mandy B,
A killer work out that has me screaming for mercy, but also the results are undeniable. Do I recommend it? Absolutely! Is it hard? Yup! But the instructor is very knowledgeable and understands that we are at different levels. I went from 1 class a week to almost 4 (they fill up fast). Post twins, I wanted to feel strong and look better- this class is truly sculpting my body. You’ll be sore, but the results are WORTH every epsom salt bath.

How was I to know that when a friend recommended I try CoreCulture, it would change my life! Eight years ago I was diagnosed with a rare condition in my leg that keeps my leg from building muscle and firing. I have spent those 8 years in the weight room miserable, inflamed and unable to recover.
In the 3 short months I’ve been doing pilates with Tiffany, everything has changed. Tiffany is able to modify any move I’m not able to do and she is patient and so kind. There is definitely the benefit of the changes I see in my body, but more than that for me is the fact that I can now walk up and down the stairs confidently, and for the first time in 8 years, I have ridden a bike, hiked a mountain, rode my Sea-Doo, walked the neighborhood and traveled with no issues! My inflammation has been the lowest its ever been and my recovery time has been non-existent.
I am so incredibly excited to see what else I can accomplish by continuing consistently 3 days a week. I am thankful and grateful that I found Tiffany and CoreCulture Pilates Studio.
